Establishment of the Japanese Association of Insurance Medicine. Toichiro Nakahama appointed as President.
1908 First publication of the Journal of the Association of Insurance Medicine of Japan, which has since been published annually, except 1945.
1947 Organized into the present status of Section 33 (of the 79 sections at that time) of the Japanese Association of Medical Sciences.
1952 Commemoration of the 50th anniversary, accompanied by the publication of a special edition of the Journal.
1981 Commemoration of the 80th anniversary, accompanied by the publication of “80-Year History of the Association of Insurance Medicine of Japan.”
1986 Organization of the 15th International Congress of Life Assurance Medicine (ICLAM) in Tokyo.
2000 Launch of the AIMJ website.
2001 Commemoration of the 100th anniversary.
2011 Commemoration of the 110th anniversary.
